"Founder Gustavo Pradilla...realized that Colombian cacao was not given the attention it deserved. This curiosity led him to embark on a countrywide journey to source Colombia's finest cocoa beans. As a result, and in order to showcase the high quality and variety of Colombian cacao, Tibitó was born....We have created an artisanal chocolate that represents the richness and variety of Colombian regions and their cacao beans.”
Some specialties: Tibitó bars are all made with Colombian fine flavor cacao, originated from different regions such as Arauca, Meta, Putumayo, Tumaco, and Choco. Each region has different characteristics, such as altitude, rainfall, soil, type of plantations, etc. which in turn, affect the taste of the chocolate.
